Everything About UEFA Nations League 2024/25 

Football lovers have fastened their seatbelts, as another season of the UEFA Nations League is around the corner. This will be the 4th season of the UEFA Nations Leagues and fans are equally excited as they were for the 1st season. As per the official news, the 4th season of the UEFA Nations League is going to kick-start its brand-new season on 5th Sept, and the season is expected to play its final match on 19th November 2024.

The UEFA Nations League is a Football tournament for European nations. It was 1st organized in 2018 by the Union of European Football Associations or UEFA. The matches are organized in league format to make it more competitive and exciting for fans. The participating teams get a chance to qualify for the UEFA championship, based on their performance in the Nations League. The first match UEFA Nations League was played between France and Germany on the 6th of Sept 2018.

Teams of UEFA Nations League 2024/ 25

The UEFA Nations League has a total of 16 teams, divided into different groups. The UEFA Nations League team is divided into four teams, popularly called league A, league B, league C, and league D. 12 teams are there in Group A and 14 in league B. league C has a total of 14 teams. Whereas, league D has a total of 16 participating teams. Here is how the groups are divided:  

League A

  • Group A1: Croatia, Portugal, Poland, Scotland.
  • Group A2: Italy, Belgium, France, Israel.
  • Group A3: Netherlands, Hungary, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
  • Group A4: Spain, Denmark, Switzerland, Serbia.

League B

  • Group B1: Czech Republic, Ukraine, Albania, Georgia.
  • Group B2: England, Finland, Republic of Ireland, Greece.
  • Group B3: Austria, Norway, Slovenia, Kazakhstan.
  • Group B4: Wales, Iceland, Montenegro, Turkey.

League C

  • Group C1: Sweden, Azerbaijan, Slovakia, Estonia.
  • Group C2: Romania, Kosovo, Cyprus, Gibraltar/Lithuania*.
  • Group C3: Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Northern Ireland, Belarus.
  • Group C4: Armenia, Faroe Islands, North Macedonia, Latvia.

League D

  • Group D1: Lithuania/Gibraltar*, San Marino, Liechtenstein.
  • Group D2: Moldova, Malta, Andorra.
